How do we work?

​After you reach out via email, Marie will arrange a phone or video call to identify your specific floral design needs for the wedding. We believe it is important to connect directly at this stage so we can get to know each other and ensure we are on the same page. Following this initial conversation, Marie will provide a custom quote along with a "botanical board" showcasing the seasonal flowers on your big day. The quote will also include a moodboard filled with visual inspiration. Studio Majalis can also offer rentals - such as candlesticks and hurricane vases - and handle your seating chart, welcome sign, and draping if needed, or connect you to specialized vendors. If the initial quote appeals to you, you can confirm your interest by paying a 50% deposit to secure our team's availability for your wedding date. Marie will then refine your vision, potentially creating sketches to help you visualize the setup for the big day, and conduct a virtual trial closer to the date to align with the seasonal blooms. We may also conduct a site visit—if we are not already familiar with your wedding venue—to ensure the planned design can be successfully executed. This visit takes place only after the contract has been signed and the deposit paid. ​

Why secure your floral designer's availability with

a deposit?

Over the years, Marie often spent a lot of time tuning quotes, involving numerous email exchanges, successive revisions, and blocked-out dates, only to find that, even with a relationship built on trust, the project sometimes failed to materialize. To avoid such situations and better respect everyone's time, Marie has implemented the following process: two discussions to finalize the quote, a proposal valid for 15 days, and a required deposit to secure the date. This approach allows her to dedicate her availability to projects that are truly committed to moving forward, ensuring you receive professional, efficient service from the very start.

What does our wedding florist service include ?

 

1 - Visual research and preparation of the custom floral design

2 - Sourcing of plant materials from our suppliers and gathering of necessary equipment

3 - Workshop preparation of floral arrangements

4 - Rental of containers (vases, bowls, etc.) and custom structures (arches, pillars, etc.) required for your design

5 - Travel to the wedding venue and on-site installation by Marie or one of her teams

6 - Collection of equipment the following day

Optional: Re-arranging bouquets for the brunch, as keepsakes, or as gifts for your guests ​

 

If we are lucky enough to make your big day come true, we remain available by email or telephone to answer all your questions, if your wishes become more refined, or the quote changes. Do not hesitate to put us in touch with your wedding planner to organize your floral decoration. We are used to working with professionals in this sector. ​ Secondly, as your wedding date approaches, we will carry out a video test of your centerpiece and/or your bridal bouquet, in order to give you a real overview of the floral decoration of your wedding. ​ On the D-day of your wedding, we adapt to the schedules and are there on time to set up everything, at the location of your ceremony and reception in Montpellier and its surroundings. We can also travel throughout the Occitanie region. We come back the next day to uninstall everything and allow you to collect your flowers to keep as souvenirs or offer them to your guests. ​
